Stop putting it off.

This week I had a plan to share a pretty detailed video on how I planned out content creation on both YouTube and X.
However, the script and the storyboard didn't make sense to me even though I had it built out a week in advance.
Every time I looked at the script I had no idea how to transfer that into a video that fit my vision, but I still needed to publish something.
So I placed that script on hold and decided to record a video on whatever I was thinking at the time. Which ended up being around the idea of :
"Stop putting things off, and just do them. Even if they are messy."
Which led me to record a video on how to get from 0 to 1 on a creative project.
In this case I took inspiration from a video I had seen where a creator was playing a rally racing game. He would keep recording until he crashed hard enough for the car to not work.
That seemed fun and something I wanted to tackle.
However I didn't have my gaming system or an area set-up for it. What I did have was my laptop and a controller to play games on my phone.
Good enough.
The idea was "Stop putting things off and just do them. Even if they are messy" and that's exactly what I intended to do.
Luckily I had a copy of The Art of Rally game on my Mac, and I was able to connect the phone controller to it. What follows is a video describing how I was able to use what I had to make myself an area where I could record and publish my gameplay using what I had with me.

The process ended up being extremely enjoyable and taught me how once we take the pressure off creating/publishing, you can get out of your own way and create things.
Within 2 hours I had recorded both a YouTube Video on how to build a makeshift gaming setup while also recording footage on that gaming setup.
Years ago I would've spent months on just researching the topic of how to setup everything.
Get out your own way.
Hit publish, even if it's messy.
Stay tuned cause I'll be doing an Art of Rally Playthrough following those rules where I will be recording until the car breaks down.
Trust me even though the game looks cartoony, the driving physics are pretty good and challenging. So be on the lookout for that either on my YouTube channel or on my X page.
I think i'll name it: The Art of Sending it.
Who knows, but as usual.
Thanks for Reading
